Allegheny General Hospital Events

Allegheny General Hospital Merchant Fair

Twice a year, the Northside Leadership Conference and Allegheny General Hospital Northside Reinvestment Committee, in cooperation with the Allegheny General Hospital Auxilary, host a biannual Merchant Fair and Community Showcase in the Exhibit Area of AGH.

Local businesses and restaurants in the Northside are invited to showcase their products and sell to AGH employees. There will also be a raffle with items and certificates to Northside businesses. AGH Employees are given a raffle ticket after purchasing something from a local vendor. This is a great way opportunity to connect Northside businesses to AGH employees.

Allegheny General Hospital Holiday Party

Each year, Allegheny General Hospital sponsors the AGH Holiday Party for Northside children in need. Community group leaders in all of the neighborhoods in the Northside are asked to nominate families, based on financial need, to participate in this event. There are games, holiday arts and crafts, and snacks for all the children. In addition, every child in attendance will recieve a gift from Santa Claus himself. Breakfast is also provided for all children and parents and guardians attending. A child and guardian must be present in order to receive the gifts. The age limit for the event is ten years old. Thank you to Allegheny Center Alliance Church for donating the space. A special thanks goes out to Frank Jans, Director of Psychiatry at AHN, for helping put on this event every year.
