26th Annual Pumpkinfest

The 26th annual children’s harvest day celebration, Pumpkinfest, was held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Allegheny Commons East Park, at the corner of East Ohio Street and Cedar Avenue, on Pittsburgh’s Northside. The festivities were from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year, we welcomed more than 5,000 people, including over 1,800 children!

We planned a fun day of pumpkin decorating, hay rides, petting zoo, pony rides, live entertainment, amusement rides, games, crafts and more for children (12 years & under).  As part of our AGH partnership, the celebration will hosted the 11th annual Health Fair.  We also had more than 50 educational, recreational and public safety booths that provided families with positive information on healthy life choices.
