NSLC administers a program known as Workforce Home Benefit for employees at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) and AGH-Suburban Campus. Open to all full-time employees who meet eligibility guidelines, the program offers homebuyer education, credit counseling and repair, mortgage loan assistance and ongoing support at no charge to those pursuing their dream of homeownership.

Funded by Freddie Mac and National City Bank, the program delivers educational programs to hospital employees and provides personal, one-on-one help specifically tailored to meeting each person’s needs. The program has evolved into one for first-time homebuyers and any other employee who seeks assistance in the process.

Homebuyer education and credit counseling services are provided by NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania and mortgage loan assistance is provided by National City Bank.
